Building has begun on Dubai’s $5.6bn Blue Line, which runs north to south alongside a bifurcated route with a complete size of 30km.
The mission is being constructed by a consortium made up of Turkish contractors Mapa and Limak with Chinese language railway methods provider CRRC.
In addition to the monitor and auxiliary methods, the work will embrace a upkeep depot and a 1.3km viaduct over Dubai Creek, the primary line to cross this barrier.
The Blue Line will join with the Inexperienced Line and the Purple Line, and can have 14 stations, together with Worldwide Metropolis 1, 2, and three, the Dubai Silicon Oasis and Educational Metropolis.

The Blue Line will enhance the variety of stations on Dubai’s metro to 78. By 2040, day by day ridership on the road is anticipated to succeed in 320,000 passengers.
