Vietnam sets out plans for $10bn Mekong Delta railway

Vietnam’s Ministry of Transport has introduced that work will start earlier than 2030 on a railway by means of the Mekong Delta provinces south of Ho Chi Minh Metropolis (HCMC).

The 175km line will join six provinces within the southern area, which grows about 90% of Vietnam’s rice exports.
