Italian oil and fuel contractor Saipem has gained two offers value $1bn from Aramco, Saudi Arabia’s state-owned oil firm.

Each contain the set up of platforms within the waters of the Gulf. One covers the engineering, procurement, building and set up of three production-deck modules (PDMs), in addition to 33km of subsea pipelines and 34km of energy cables within the Marjan oil and fuel area.

The second’s scope of labor will happen within the Safaniyah and Zuluf oil fields, This covers 5 PDMs, 22km of subsea inflexible pipelines, 5km of subsea versatile pipelines and 35km of subsea energy cables.
