A younger, award-winning
plant producer says whereas plant manufacturing is important to
the success of each major industries and home gardens,
he believes the sector’s “good mahi” goes below the
radar.
Lincoln College conservation and ecology
scholar Jake Linklater received the celebrated Younger Plant
Producer of the 12 months award in his hometown of Christchurch
final week.
Linklater has been the nursery supervisor at
Nova Natives in Templeton, close to Ōtautahi, for the previous
three and a half years and has labored in plant manufacturing
for greater than 5 years.
“I got here from expertise in
landscaping and arboriculture earlier than this, and each time I

“So when landscaping was

Nova Natives sells native crops to nurseries,
