Egis consortium to build Morocco high-speed railway for 2030 World Cup

A consortium led by France’s Egis with Systra and Morocco’s Novec will challenge handle the infrastructure for a 430km high-speed railway in Morocco between Kenitra and Marrakech.

Morocco desires it completed in time for the 2030 soccer World Cup, which it’s co-hosting.

The contract, awarded by the nationwide railway operator ONCF, sees the staff additionally modernising Morocco’s standard practice community in Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech.
