Ambuja Cements announces Rs. 16 billion investment to set up cement grinding unit

Ambuja Cements Restricted, a part of the diversified Adani Portfolio, declares its first enterprise in Bihar, marking the biggest funding within the state by a cement trade participant.

The Warisaliganj cement grinding unit, a standalone facility with an general capability of 6 million tpy, shall be established at an funding of almost Rs. 16 billion.

The mission shall be carried out in three phases with first part of two.4 million tpy at an funding of Rs. 11 billion is focused to be commissioned by December 2025. Ample provisioning of land for future growth is in place which shall be commissioned in the end at a lot decrease CAPEX. Situated within the Mosama village, Tehsil Warisaliganj, District Nawada, Bihar, the positioning is well-connected by street and rail, with Warisaliganj railway station 1 km away and SH-83 simply 500 meters from the positioning.

Geared toward boosting infrastructure, contributing roughly Rs. 2.5 billion per 12 months to the state’s fiscal income and creating 250 direct jobs and 1000 oblique jobs for the state, the occasion was held within the gracious presence of many dignitaries just like the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Samrat Choudhary; Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Vijay Kumar Sinha; Hon’ble Trade Minister, Mr. Nitish Mishra. On this event, Mr. Pranav Adani, Managing Director (Agro, Oil & Gasoline) and Director, Adani Enterprises Restricted was additionally current from the Adani Group.

Mr. Pranav Adani remarked, “This funding aligns with the State Authorities’s growth programmes and our development plans. The cement trade is witnessing wholesome volumes because of the authorities’s infrastructure thrust, and Ambuja Cements is well-positioned to help sustainable infrastructure growth within the nation. BIADA has allotted 67.90 acres of land for this cement unit for which environmental clearance has been obtained for work on the positioning. This unit is prone to be operational by December 2025. Along with Warisaliganj, Ambuja Cements Restricted has been allotted 26.60 acres of land by the BIADA for one more cement unit within the industrial space of Mahbal, Motipur, Muzaffarpur.
