Skanska completes $89m makeover of New Hampshire science building

Skanska has accomplished the $89m makeover of the College of New Hampshire’s Organic Sciences Constructing, Spaulding Corridor, in Durham, New Hampshire.

Designed by architects Ellenzweig to be LEED Silver licensed, the venture started in 2019.

Ellenzweig designed the unique Spaulding Corridor, which opened in 1996.

Skanska renovated 82,500 sq ft of the constructing and added 47,500 sq ft of latest instructing and lab area.

The venture concerned vital coordination with administration to put in new steam, chilled, and scorching water providers.

Skanska labored with the venture engineer to pick a Konvekta system for the brand new air dealing with items.

College architect Kenneth Weston stated the constructing’s makeover would assist the College “ship cutting-edge studying alternatives, positioning scholar for profitable entry into the workforce”.
