Skanska to modernise Czech Republic rail stations

Skanska has signed a €48m contract with the Czech Republic’s railway administration to modernise the Chrastava and Hrádek nad Nisou railway stations in north Bohemia.

The mission will enable trains to journey at elevated speeds on the community.

Chrastava station

Skanska’s will set up 4km of monitor, 14 switches, station safety methods, 4 barrier-free platforms, bridges, crossroads, station buildings and a small bus terminal in Hrádek.

Work is because of start in September and be accomplished in December 2025.
