A three way partnership between FlatironDragados and Skanska has landed a $1bn contract from the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority to construct the Lengthy Bridge North railway bridge in Washington DC.
The four-track, 1.6km-long bridge will exchange the present two-track bridge connecting Virginia to the capital over the Potomac River.
