
Canadian architect and engineer Stantec has received a design competitors for reconstruction work on Ukraine’s State Tax College, which was severely broken throughout Russia’s invasion in 2022.
Positioned in Irpin, 20km north west of Kyiv, the college specialises in public finance, regulation and accounting, and is linked to Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance.

Stantec’s design reimagines the destroyed foremost constructing as a central gathering area, with civic and educational areas encouraging collaboration, analysis and cultural actions.
Described by the corporate as an “inclusive, adaptive” restoration, it’s impressed by Irpin’s popularity as a “Metropolis of Parks” near a forest.

Over half of the State Tax College buildings have been broken or destroyed within the struggle.
