Finland investigates anti-competitive behaviour in asphalt market

Posted on May 24, 2025

The Finnish Competitors and Shopper Authority has introduced that it’s investigating a variety of corporations working within the nation’s asphalt market.

It mentioned it was taking a look at whether or not the businesses have engaged in “prohibited cooperation”.

The authorities haven’t named particular corporations. Nevertheless, Swedish contractor Peab has mentioned it’s cooperating with the probe and has “zero tolerance of any types of irregularities”.

GRK has reported that the FCCA performed an unannounced inspection on the places of work of its Finnish subsidiary and that no info is out there in regards to the investigation.

The authority has not given a timeframe for its investigation.
